TERRAMAR \ BEHIND THE NAME

Thinking of a name for the studio was a fun challenge. I wanted something meaningful to me, and implicative of my design style. I’ve always lived on the coast- whether it was in Boston, Savannah or San Diego, and the shoreline has become a respite where I can go and find inspiration and balance. The colors and textures of the landscape are so beautiful and are something I am always drawn to.

This place where earth meets sea- Terramar, is home.

I strongly believe that our built environments can dramatically influence the way we feel, interact, and live, and that our homes should be a refuge. Terramar designs are infused with light, layered in texture, and rooted by nature.
